2018 Weddings: Year in Review

For me, 2018 began by giving birth to our beautiful daughter Olivia on January 19th. I took a few months of maternity leave, and then jumped into shooting weddings starting in March, which continued through December.

Within this wedding season, I photographed three magical destination weddings, including Disney World, the historic Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs, and at a gorgeous Chateau in Bordeaux, France. I also shot weddings at some of my favorite venues this year, including Cairnwood Estate, the Park Chateau, The Ryland Inn, Water Works in Philadelphia, Congress Hall in Cape May The Four Seasons Baltimore, The Belvedere, The Washington Mill Dye House, the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, and the The Nittany Lion Inn. It was also so lovely photographing some weddings for the first time at Linwood Estate, Swan Cove Manor, The Carlyle House, Bear Brook Valley, Cork Factory Hotek, Vie, Park Avenue Club, Maryland Lodge, Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel, and a sweet intimate wedding at Lewes Beach, which will be published in The Knot Magazine.

I also got to work with so many of my favorite vendors this year (if you ever need a recommendation from beauty to video, I’d be happy to share with you who I think are the best in the business depending on your area). I have my top picks from Maryland up to New York, and even all the way to France!

These 25 beautiful weddings were so full of joy and delight. It was such an honor to capture these precious memories for my incredible 2018 couples.

Emily, Mike, Liz, Damien, Dayna, Daniel, Alex, Zach, Cristina, Greg, Stefanie, Bobby, Mackenzie, Bryant, Beth, Mike, Jenna, Daniel, Alexis, Steven, Jennie, Aaron, Lauren, Spencer, Ali, Chris, Katie, Christian, Alissa, Daniel, Michelle, Shawn, Matt, Shayna, Emily, Nick, Karen, Dave, Lisa, Matt, Julia, Greg, Jenn, Joe, Bree, Lee, Vanessa, Phil, Mallory and Danny…..Thank you! Thank you for being the most wonderful clients, and for trusting me with capturing your love and these special memories from one of your very favorite days. Thank you for investing in not only beautiful photography, but in me and my family. We are so grateful for you and pray blessings over all of you as you journey on. You all have a very special place in my heart and you know I love you.

And thank you God, for always providing, and helping me grow each year… becoming the very best person and photographer that I can be, to serve and love people with the best of my ability, and to capture love and special moments in the most beautiful and authentic way.

And in honor of my 2018 season, I’m sharing some of my favorite images from this year’s wedding season. They are in no particular order, just a hodge podge of my favorites…

xoxo,

Your photos are among the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and I love how you express the joy and magic of every wedding you shoot. But I have to say that your spirit is the most magical part of your work. Getting to meet you and have you be part of our daughter and son-in-law’s special day was such a priceless gift. I am forever grateful. I’m also inspired by how you share about your journey of becoming a photographer and building your business. Your humble, grateful attitude is as beautiful as your photos. And your spirit is luminescent. Thank you so much for making OUR 2018 amazing! Love, Susan (aka Mackenzie’s mom!)
