Once upon a time, that’s how this story should begin…

Once upon a time there was a girl who fell in love with a boy, and he would follow her anywhere. And so he did, across the world. And right in the midst of their travels across the earth, they came upon a magical city by the sea. It stole their hearts and they were mesmerized forever. This enchanting city whispered them back across oceans; and it now houses a large portion of their love story.

Photographing Katie and Dale’s love in Croatia was a memory that lives in a secret part of my heart. I almost can’t even describe it because it was so special and sacred that I want these memories to always live quietly within me, bringing me joy each time one comes across my mind. I was also enchanted by this romantic and mysterious place, where fairytales still exist.

Words continue to escape me, and so I will wait to describe this day. Or I’ll just let it live within my heart as one of the best days I’ve ever lived. For now, I’ll let the photographs tell their story.
