Cork Factory Hotel Wedding: Karen and Dave {Lancaster Wedding Photographer}
Karen and Dave love everything about October, including Halloween. So it made sense to them to get married on October 13th at a venue that provided a perfect moody and dark reception: The Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA.
The color scheme was black, gold, and deep reds and purples. Bridesmaids wore black floor length gowns, while holding cascading fall blooms. The groomsmen wore black and gold, and held skull canes.
The bride, Karen, kept her lipstick and small necessities in her black skull purse. There was black lace everywhere, including the invitations and around the decorative pumpkins at the ceremony.
Before guests made their way to the ceremony site, they enjoyed a donut and cider bar, while at the reception they were each gifted gourmet smores.
The reception room at the Cork Factory was seductive, filled with hanging greenery and floating candles. Black satin and black sequined linens grace the tables, along with dark red roses and gold centerpieces. Black resin chairs gave the room a dark and mysterious, yet very romantic vibe.
The four-tier wedding cake was black and white, covered in polka dots black lace, red roses, and feathers.
Karen and Dave pulled off such an elegant wedding with a dark glamorous twist. Their wedding is one for the books and one that is very dear to my heart!
Congratulations Karen and Dave!
