Some love stories begin at the very beginning. For Kaitlin and Ryan, they met in Kindergarten.

Growing up, they lived around the corner from each other, but it wasn’t until high school when they realized there were feelings between them. And so they dated throughout high school. Upon graduation, like most high schools sweethearts, they parted ways.

Four years went by; four years of college and other relationships, until one day Kaitlin and Ryan’s paths crossed once again at a hometown BBQ. After the BBQ was over, Ryan asked Kaitlin if she wold be interested in going out to dinner with him to catch up, and Kaitlin said no. But Ryan insisted he take her out. Kaitlin’s plan going into the “date” was to tell him immediately that she wasn’t interested in seeing him, but after they got talking, she forgot all about her plan, and slowly was falling back in love with her childhood boyfriend. From that evening on, Kaitlin and Ryan have been inseparable.

We met right before Christmas in the Poconos for their engagement session. Although their wedding will be in New Jersey at the gorgeous Park Chateau Estate & Gardens, they decided to do their engagement session in the Poconos, where Kaitlin’s family has a mountain house, for a romantic snowy winter engagement session.
