The moment you meet Michelle, she is smiling from ear to ear. So on her wedding day, not only was she a beautiful bride, but the happiest.

Her sophisticated and classic DC wedding took place at the Fairmont hotel, located within Washington’s fashionable West End and adjacent to historic Georgetown. The ivory and peace bouquets contrasted beautifully with Michelle’s sparkly navy shoes, and the long navy bridesmaid dresses. Michelle’s sister, who was the maid of honor, wore ivory flowers in her hair.

Michelle walked up to her soon-to-be husband Griffin, in a beautiful white marble hallway within the hotel for the first look. And both their faces were filled with overwhelming joy.

A beautiful ceremony took place within the spacious and light-filled Colonnade Room, followed by a cocktail hour in the courtyard garden. The reception included cutting both a bride’s cake and a Virginia Tech stadium groom’s cake.  Both the bride and groom are Virginia Tech Alumni. Electra Entertainment kept the dancing and party lasting until the very last minute; there was always a crowed on the dance floor.

The evening ended with a ribbon farewell and lots of hugs and well wishes.
