King Family Vineyards Wedding: Christina and Jim {Charlottesville Wedding Photographer}
Christina and Jim’s Virginia wedding at King Family Vineyards was filled with charm and beauty.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, KFV offered gorgeous panoramic mountain views, along with it’s darling horse stables. Christina and Jim both attended the University of Virginia and are in love with the Charlottesville area, which is what brought them back to the south for their romantic winery wedding.
Christina, quite the southern belle, wore a flowy BHLDN dress and heels from Anthropologie. Her wedding centered around the color of champagne, which of course was fitting since her wedding took place at a winery. Her bridesmaids wore knee-length lace dresses and carried gorgeous florals filled with roses, hydrangeas, and greenery.
Cocktails were served during the extended cocktail hour at the winery. The two signature drinks were popular at the bar: The Southern Belle, a peach rose sangria, and The Virginia Gentleman, a mint julep sweet tea. Other delicious Kine Family Vineyards wines were tasted, and lawn games such as the bean bag throw and bocce ball were played.
Because of the mid-summer heat, each guest was gifted with a palm leaf hand fan.
Guests enjoyed delicious southern cuisine during dinner, followed by blackberry cobbler and apple crisp, instead of the traditional cake. The night ended with a sparkler farewell and lots of hugs.
Congratulations Christina and Jim!
