She took off her heels to shake the sand out of them, and then took his hand as he led her into the biggest party of their lives.

Amanda and Adam were wed by the sea, the same sandy beach in Ocean City, NJ, where we met for their engagement session, which you can view here.

Their love for the sea was in all the little details of the day; a jersey shore map imprinted inside the invitation envelope, the beach chair escort cards, delicious oysters served during cocktail hour, and the romantic pink tulle dresses that danced in the salty wind.

Whimsical pastel-colored cakes and elephant salt and pepper shakers were fun touches at the Windrift Hotel reception, which overlooked the quiet Avalon Beach. The bright and cheery flowers by Petals Lane gave the reception a soft and delightful appeal.

During the reception, there were toasts that brought tears, a first dance to the classic song “Can’t take my eyes off you,” and an energetic dance floor as the band played into the night.
