Sophia’s room is ready to welcome her home. I’m looking forward to the days (and even the nights) that I’ll get to hold her against my skin while rocking in my wing-backed glider chair. With the help of my mom and sister, we created the colorful shabby chic pink material banner that floods the room with my favorite colors. Sophia’s middle name is Joy, like her mother and grandmother, so it was only fitting to include that part of her name in the room. Her bookshelf is filled with the sweetest books from my family and friends. And last but not least, I adore the little unicorn baby rocker and kitty cat doll I found at Pottery Barn.

I’m about 38 weeks, so I guess she could come at anytime now. We are ready for you my darling girl.
