I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people. Vincent Van Gogh
The first time I ever photographed a wedding, something stirred in my soul. It made me feel alive, as if I had finally found the place where I was meant to be, and doing the things I was meant to do. From that day forward, I began the process of becoming a full-time wedding photographer and there was no going back. Being a photographer inspires my creativity, gives energy to my soul, and so much meaning to my one precious life. Soon after I photographed my first wedding, I was a bride myself. I committed myself to a wonderful (and handsome) man named Jason LaMora, and every day since, I decide to love him and he decides to love me. Married life is full of both mountains and valleys, but it'’s always worth it. And now I get the honor to love on and support those who are beginning their marriage journey, and also those who have been traveling together for awhile now.
Jesus performed his first miracle at a wedding, turning water into wine. I believe that God loves weddings and celebrates with each couple on their day. Part of my mission is to awaken the beauty, joy, and strength that God has placed inside of those around me. We are completely loved and adoringly cherished just as we are. There is nothing we can do to make God love us more, or to make Him love us less. He simply loves us and meets us right where we are. My desire is to reveal this love through my photography, writings, and my life.
I tend to wear my heart on my camera. My photography style reflects who I am: romantic, sentimental, thoughtful, soft, joyous, and light-filled. My emotionally inspired and timeless photographs are a reflection of the way I see the world, and my love for people.
My mission is to simply love on others; to use my talents, skills, and personality to create beautiful images, words, and experiences for those I serve, and to honor and celebrate the sacred union of marriage.
