I felt as if I was in a dream. The mountains, the valleys, the sea, the sun, the love.

Dubrovnik, Croatia is a magical place, filled with wonder, beauty, and enchanting tales.

And out of all the towns and cities in all the countries and continents, Katie and Dale chose Dubrovnik as the place where they wanted to make their most sacred promise.

With camera and lenses in hand, we ventured to the top of a mountain overlooking the breathtaking city of walls along the Adriatic sea. It was the evening before they wed, the sun was setting, and the glowing light washed over this beautiful couple.

Their love story is more than a fairytale, it’s an adventure, a risk, and a book made up of surprising chapters, each one more exciting and beautiful than the last. And one of my favorite chapters in their book is this one right here, the chapter when they walk along a mountaintop, holding each other close, ready for the commitment of love forever.

These are the moments we live for, these are the moments that take our breath away. And even when our memories fade…photographs will love on, and continue telling our stories to the generations beyond us.
